Data science is cool!
The aim of the training course was to give an overview of data science, computer vision, data visualization, Python libraries and much more. The instructors are Kristjan and Eneli Eljand. The training course was organised by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications from the European Union structural support scheme "Increasing digital literacy" funded by the European Social Fund.

Microsoft Excel for Business Intelligence
The aim of the training course is to identify Microsoft Excel as a BI tool and thereby develop the basic skills of users from the view of data analytics. The training is suitable for those who would like to visualize the data and analyze and present it in a new way. Microsoft Excel is a commonly used software in the public sector that has more to offer than just most popular table calculations.

Microsoft Power BI
The aim of the training course is to help business users develop their Microsoft Power BI software skills to acquire data processing skills in modern analytics software. The training is suitable for both those people who have a broad knowledge of the use of Microsoft BI but also for those who know about the visualization and processing of data, but do not have much experience or skills with data analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI.

Course on data literacy
The course on data literacy is aimed at all public sector employees who wish to acquire basic knowledge of data literacy, i.e. the ability to use data. During the course, ways of using data to manage processes and solve problems are discussed. The instructor explains how to understand and evaluate the results of the information search and present the results of the search in logical way, telling stories based on data. The training course provides real life examples.

Data management course for local government employees
The aim of the training course is to raise the awareness and practical skills of local government employees regarding data management and disclosure. The course provides an overview of the benefits of correct management and disclosure of data. In addition, it gives an overview of the requirements set for data management, introduces the principles of data management, data description and data quality, talks about machine readability. Practical exercises related to the organization, management and disclosure of data sets are completed. The training provides many practical examples.

Linked data technologies
The aim of the training is to raise the awareness of those people in the public sector who are involved in data production processes. The main focus is on data disclosure so that the open data that is produced is as high-quality as possible. Privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs)
The aim of the course is to introduce different privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs), talk about the benefits one can gain from applying PETs and explain what the prerequisites for these technologies are. After completing the training, participants will be able to assess which PETs could be applied depending on the specifics of information processing and what the risks and limitations that should be taken into account during implementation are. Personal data processing in data analytics
The training course addresses the main problems related to personal data processing in the context of data analytics. The process of selecting the legal basis for the processing of personal data is explained, an overview of the risks and differences in the automated processing of the specific types of personal data is given, and the principles of integrated data protection and data protection by default are introduced. Training seminar on data warehouses
The aim of the training seminar is to introduce the concept of creating data warehouses. Participants will learn what data warehouses are about, what they consist of, what technologies and software are used to create data warehouses, and which (data protection) requirements should be taken into account when creating data warehouses. In addition, recommendations on how to carry out data warehouse projects are given. Training materials can be found here.
Tableau training for data analysts
Tableau software training is primarily aimed at public sector data analysts and other data professionals who have learned about the visualization and processing of data, but do not yet have sufficient experience or skills to work with data analytics tools such as Tableau. The training focuses on the roles of Author, Designer, Analyst on Tableau. Practical exercises are also completed during the training session. Training materials can be found here.
Executing data science projects
The aim of the workshops is to give project managers in the public sector an overview of data science projects and tips on how to carry them out better. In particular, the training focuses on the PoC phase of data science projects, where the level of uncertainty is still very high. The training consists of three sessions.
